Overview
We are supporting a leading German telecommunications provider in the search for a Service Manager Operations 5G. The company is deploying one of the most advanced 5G Open-RAN networks in Europe, supported by a modern fibre backbone and cloud-native infrastructure.
In this role, you are responsible for the operational service view of the 1&1 mobile network, ensuring that customer complaints, network deviations and service-impacting issues are translated into clear operational requirements, improvements and structured resolution processes.
Key responsibilities
- Define strategy and concepts for service operations from the end-customer perspective
- Translate customer complaints into requirements for improved observability and monitoring
- Convert technical resolutions into clear guidance for customer care teams
- Safeguard effective and efficient problem-resolution processes for reported network issues
- Drive network improvements and automation in close cooperation with engineering, partners and vendors
- Own the operational interface towards 1&1 Customer Operations
- Identify and implement process and procedural improvements across partner networks
Your profile
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in service management and/or service operations
- Deep knowledge of TM Forum frameworks
- Strong technical background in Core, IP and/or Cloud environments
- Understanding of E2E call and data flows in complex telecom networks
- Excellent leadership skills and stakeholder management experience
- Very good German and English language skills
