Overview
We are supporting an established engineering and plant-construction company with a global project history in the chemical industry.
To strengthen the engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Piping Engineer with strong CAD skills and understanding of industrial plant layout.
The role combines design responsibility, coordination with internal engineering disciplines and hands-on support during installation and commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop piping systems for chemical-plant projects
- Create 3D piping models, isometrics, support structures, bills of materials and documentation
- Prepare technical specifications for piping components and equipment
- Contribute to layout development and interface coordination across engineering disciplines
- Support inspections, FATs, installation supervision and commissioning activities on site
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, process specifications and safety rules
Your profile
- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, piping design or similar
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (for example AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D)
- Good understanding of piping layout, isometrics and industrial equipment arrangement
- Process-oriented working style and strong sense of responsibility
- Good English skills; German is an advantage
- Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary engineering environment
- Driving licence (Class B) beneficial
