Overview
We are supporting an engineering and plant-construction company in the chemical industry in the search for a Legal Counsel.
In this role you provide legal expertise across the full lifecycle of international industrial projects. You support management, sales and project teams in contract drafting, negotiation and legal compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts for international projects
- Analyse technical project requirements and translate them into legal language
- Advise management and project teams on legal matters as a business partner
- Ensure correct application of laws, regulations and company guidelines
- Develop and maintain contract templates and internal legal procedures
- Support risk assessments and compliance topics
- Work with external law firms and authorities when needed
Your profile
- Completed degree in Law (for example Rechtswissenschaften or Law and Economics)
- Several years of experience as a Legal Counsel or Lawyer
- Strong ability to understand technical information and convert it into legal wording
- Confident contract drafting skills in German and English
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in project-oriented environments (for example engineering, construction or industrial services)
- Court internship is an advantage
