Overview
We are supporting a long-established engineering and plant-construction company in the chemical industry in the search for a Design Engineer / Konstrukteur.
In this role you support the engineering team by creating 3D models, drawings and technical documentation for chemical-plant projects and by accompanying the implementation on site.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models, assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings
- Prepare piping and instrumentation documentation (P&ID)
- Produce technical specifications for plant components and equipment
- Support design reviews and contribute to plant layout and equipment arrangement
- Work closely with process engineers, mechanical engineers and project managers
- Accompany inspections, acceptance tests, installation supervision and commissioning on site
Your profile
- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or a similar field
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (for example AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D)
- Process-oriented way of thinking and working
- Good English skills; German skills are an advantage
- High motivation and enjoyment of teamwork
- Driving licence (Class B) is beneficial
