Why we are expanding
For the past years, most of our work has been with German, Austrian and wider European clients in plant construction, chemicals and defense-related manufacturing.
We now see increasing demand from US-based organisations that:
- build or expand industrial assets in Europe, or
- look for European engineering and project talent for their US operations.
To serve these needs in a structured way, we are formalising Aegis Talent Group’s US focus.
What stays the same
We are not changing our positioning:
- Core industries remain plant construction, chemicals, defense and telecom
- We continue to work on senior engineering, project and leadership roles
- Searches stay targeted, relationship-driven and long-term, not volume-based
The existing work of DKG in the DACH region continues unchanged.
What changes in practice
The main changes are:
- Aegis will take the lead on client relationships with US entities, especially where:
- global project portfolios touch Europe, or
- German / Austrian project teams cooperate with US headquarters.
- We will build a small pipeline of US-based candidates who:
- have experience in EPC, defense manufacturing, specialty chemicals, and
- are open to cross-border work or relocation.
This is not a broad “US recruitment” offering, but a focused extension of what we already do.
What this means for clients
If you are a US-based organisation with:
- projects in Germany, Austria or wider Europe, or
- a need for European engineering leadership on your US sites,
we can support you with searches that understand both sides — European regulatory realities and US corporate expectations.
We deliberately keep the portfolio small to stay close to each mandate and avoid conflicts of interest.
What this means for candidates
If you are a senior engineer or project leader with:
- experience in large industrial projects and
- an interest in US–EU project environments,
you can reach out directly via the Contact form and mention “US projects” in your message.
We will only explore paths that are realistic in terms of visas, family situation and compensation, and we will continue to be transparent about client structures and project risks.
